We’re pleased to share details of a new project in Sheffield, where we've been appointed to coordinate the installation of gas, water, and electricity supplies for four new build properties. This appointment comes from a repeat client—a testament to the trust and confidence they place in our work.

A Complex Site with Shared Access
The site presents a number of logistical challenges, primarily due to its access via a narrow private road. This road is shared by neighbouring properties, meaning careful negotiation and planning have been essential from the outset.
As part of the planning phase, we’ve worked closely with local residents to ensure minimal disruption. Gaining approval for the required excavations has been a key step, and we’re grateful to the neighbouring property owners for their cooperation and engagement throughout the process.
Detailed Design and Utility Coordination
Our team has now developed and agreed a coordinated design for each utility service. This includes:
• Precise excavation planning to avoid conflict with existing services.
• Minimising disruption to shared access routes.
• Working within the constraints of the private road and surrounding properties.
We’ve also taken part in face-to-face discussions with neighbours to explain the installation plans and timeline, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and comfortable with the works ahead.
Moving Into the Planning Stage
With approvals and initial designs in place, we’re now entering the formal planning stage. This includes final coordination with utility providers, programming of works, and further engagement with stakeholders to finalise logistics.
We’re proud to be working again with this valued client and look forward to delivering a smooth, well-managed utility installation that supports the successful completion of these new homes.
