A Night to Remember: Utility Source Celebrates Double Success

The Utility Source team is celebrating after an unforgettable evening at the Barnsley and Rotherham Business Awards, where we were delighted to win the Business Growth Award and receive a Highly Commended recognition in the Campaign of the Year category.

Organised by the Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, the awards celebrate the businesses, organisations and individuals making a positive contribution to the local economy. To be recognised alongside so many ambitious and innovative businesses from across Barnsley, Rotherham and the wider South Yorkshire region was a huge honour for everyone at Utility Source.

Although being shortlisted was an achievement in itself, we genuinely did not expect to come away with an award. Hearing Utility Source announced as the winner of the Business Growth category made the evening even more memorable and gave our whole team an opportunity to reflect on how far the company has come.

The Business Growth Award recognises the progress Utility Source has made as a specialist utility consultancy supporting property developers, investors and businesses throughout the UK. From new utility connections and disconnections to diversions, metering and infrastructure planning, our team helps clients navigate what can often be one of the most complicated elements of a property development project.

Our growth has been built on a commitment to making utilities simpler, clearer and less stressful for our clients. By managing projects from the initial planning stages through to completion, we help property developers avoid unnecessary delays, unexpected costs and communication difficulties with utility providers.

We were also incredibly proud to be named Highly Commended in the Campaign of the Year category. This recognition celebrates the creativity, strategy and hard work behind our marketing activity, which has helped us raise awareness of the importance of early utility planning within property development.

The campaign brought complex utility topics to life through practical advice, educational content and creative ideas designed specifically for property professionals. Receiving recognition for both business growth and marketing highlights how closely the two areas have worked together to support Utility Source’s continued development.

Neither achievement would have been possible without the dedication of our team. Every member of Utility Source has contributed to our growth by supporting clients, solving problems, developing new ideas and maintaining the high standards of service on which the business has built its reputation.

We would also like to congratulate all the winners, finalists and shortlisted businesses recognised at the Barnsley and Rotherham Business Awards. The talent, ambition and passion in the room demonstrated the strength of the local business community and made the evening truly inspiring.

Winning the Business Growth Award and achieving Highly Commended for Campaign of the Year is a proud milestone for Utility Source. It gives us even greater motivation to continue growing, developing our services and helping property developers take control of their utility projects.
