Work is now underway on the conversion of a former office building into nine modern assisted living apartments, marking the start of an exciting project that will transform an existing property into valuable new accommodation.
Laying the Foundations for the Future
The initial phase of the project focuses on preparing the building’s essential services to meet the needs of its future residents and the staff who will support them.
The works include:
Gas disconnection – safely disconnecting the existing gas supply as part of the building’s transformation. This has now successfully been completed.
9 new water services – providing dedicated water supplies for each apartment.
9 new electrical services – ensuring each apartment has its own electrical supply.
10 BT services – nine for the individual apartments, plus an additional service for the carers’ staff room and accommodation.
These essential infrastructure works will help prepare the building for its new purpose and support the development of comfortable, modern living spaces.
